Pre-requisite EDF6225. Must be eligible for admission as a non-degree-seeking or degree-seeking graduate student at UWF. Degree-seeking students must be admitted to UWF prior to enrolling. Non-degree-seeking students will be required to complete the University application and admission process after enrollment. Undergraduates must contact the Office of ABA for approval to register (must meet certain criteria of undergraduate coursework hours completed). If you have already earned credit for this course and/or need to enroll in other ABA program courses, please send an email to aba@uwf.edu.

Behavioral Assessment, Intervention, and Outcomes EDF6226 (45 semester hours) serves as the second in a series of four or six courses that prepares students for the BCaBA (first four courses) or BCBA (all six courses) exam. Participants learn to identify behaviors appropriate for change using behavioral assessment, selecting behavioral outcomes, selecting behavioral strategies, and ethical and professional issues relevant to the practice of behavioral assessment and choosing behaviors to change. Content is drawn from the BACB Fourth Edition Task List.  Grades will be posted in UWF’s Banner System in order to show on an official transcript.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are a degree-seeking student utilizing federal financial aid, a non-degree-seeking student utilizing a continuing education loan such as Wells Fargo or Sallie Mae, or a student who would like to enroll in our payment plan for this course, please complete the ABA Course Alternate Payment Request Form (https://docs.google.com/a/uwf.edu/forms/d/17662YL_seNDenkRlaEwIqw4gXlCRMAIeS42kKiafV70/edit).  You may contact the program coordinator at aba@uwf.edu or call 850-474-2074 for questions regarding assistance with your registration or payment plan enrollment.

The ABA program classes meet in virtual live sessions once a week in two time zones, CST Option for those who prefer to attend in CST zone and PST Option for those who prefer PST zone (unless it is for a PC or Private Cohort set up for a specific organization’s employees). You may go to http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html to help you figure out what time the class will meet if you live in a different time zone than the one posted for the class.

UWF drop/add and refund/repayment policies apply to all courses and can be viewed at http://uwf.edu/offices/financial-aid/general-information/refund-repayment-policy/. If you need to drop (remove course before fee payment deadline) or withdraw (after fee payment deadline) from this course, submit a written request to aba@uwf.edu. Written request must be received by 5:00 PM Central Standard Time on the Friday of the first week of class.
