« back to classes page
Kym Atwood, a doctoral candidate at UWF and faculty associate in the Department of Movement Sciences and Health, will inform and entertain us with the subject of dance. She will explain dance as an early form of communication and show us how it evolved throughout history including the roots of dance in Africa and its evolution as a social and cultural art form. We look forward to a little bit of demonstration and perhaps a bit of participation by willing class members. Plan to learn and enjoy as you are exposed to a unique class topic combined with valuable historic information.
