The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is the first step in the process of becoming a professional licensed engineer (P.E.). Take the first step towards becoming a professional licensed engineer and prepare for the FE exam in the electrical and computer engineering discipline. You will learn to apply math and science concepts to solve complex mathematical problems, apply engineering concepts to solve complex engineering problems and evaluate situations to determine ethical responsibility. This course will prepare students for the FE exam in the EE/CpE discipline. The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is generally the first step in the process of becoming a professional licensed engineer (P.E.). Students will be able to: Apply math and science concepts to solve complex mathematical problems. Apply engineering concepts to solve complex engineering problems. Evaluate situations to determine ethical responsibility. Topics include:  Admin and algebra/calculusPS Probability, statistics, and material properties Circuit analysis and linear systems PowerPS Electronics Signal processing and controls Electromagnetics Communications Digital systems Computer systems Computer networks and software Engineering ethics and engineering economics
