The REX Theater is a 1910 historic landmark in Downtown Pensacola. First opened as the Rhodes-Collins Furniture store, the building became "the REX" in 1937 and operated as a movie theater until 1977 and again for a short time in the 1980s. In 2015, Harvest Outreach, Inc. completed a $1.8 million dollar restoration of the REX, and today it is a venue for Generation Church services and community enrichment activities.
