The political caldrons are steaming! One has a hearty stew, another has a toxic witch’s brew and there are a few smaller vessels of bland, tasteless broth. For us, there is only the excitement of exploring, discussing and evaluating the past two presidential years. Then, of course, we will be looking forward to putting our best collective efforts into assessing the final two years of the president’s first term. A few subjects to ponder during the next couple of months include: immigration, tariffs and trade, agreements, high level hires and departures (and possible incarcerations), the special prosecutor's report and recommendations, how to keep his daughter and son-in-law from seeking welfare (they only earned 86 million dollars last year), international relations and, finally, responding to the tweets. Remember, passions are expected and, in fact, encouraged. So, in keeping with our established practice, we will always be polite, listen to varying points of view and respond appropriately. More importantly, we will have a great time, lots of laughs and few serious interludes. The goal is to enjoy ourselves and learn.
