Laurie Flynn is a regional artist who works primarily in fiber and fabrics. She creates wearable art, macramé jewelry and fabric collages. Ms. Flynn has worked as a TV station staff artist and has illustrated many children’s books. Her art is influenced by her travel through 39 countries and her time living in Saudi Arabia, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. Although her primary work is as a fiber artist, she also serves as a volunteer usher at the Saenger Theatre. This interesting artist will have plenty of work on display and she will be happy to answer your questions.
