Did you know that Molino was larger than Pensacola at one time? At its peak in 1914, the area was a thriving oasis of sawmills and tung oil production, a coveted treatment for fine wood. Because of its industrial needs, electricity, phone service and even a car dealership reached Molino before Pensacola. Discover more about the city of Molino's history in a tour through this quaint museum. Permanent exhibits include a tribute to baseball Hall of Famer Don Sutton, who was raised in Molino and graduated from Tate High School. Vintage lumber industry tools and telephone equipment are just a few more examples of what we will see.
