A short presentation will explain the mechanics of the dart-throwing device, explore the prehistoric and protohistoric use of it in Florida and the three archaeological sites in Florida where evidence of these ancient tools has been unearthed. Next, participants can try their hand at it during our atlatl demonstration outside (weather permitting).
