« back to classes page
Florida is experiencing the second largest growth rate in its elder population (with California at No. 1).  As the senior population rises so do the incidents of fraud and scams against those citizens. Seniors are the fastest growing population segment and are easy targets for scammers. They are bombarded by con artists through telephone, email and mail. These scams include phony charities, IRS or debt collection, sweepstakes and lottery, home repair, discount medical plans, telemarketing schemes, grandparent scams and more. In this session, you will learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones from exploitation and the proper reporting procedures in this session.
