« back to classes page
Standing up to injustice often conflicts with expediency. While the good that is produced by an action and the rightness of an action are mutually exclusive, when should one choose good outcomes over doing what is right? This class is an introduction to the normative ideas and metaphysics of rightness through the lenses of W.D. Ross’s ethical intuitionism and M.K. Gandhi’s Satyagraha.
