ID : 56542
« back to classes page
The capstone course rounds out our series of three courses on Network Defense with a series of complementary hands-on exercises simulating real-world scenarios depicting the stages of a cyber kill-chain. Participants will apply network defense concepts and tools on reconnaissance, intrusion detection and prevention, network security policy, firewall configuration and access controls, vulnerability analysis and host hardening to effectively defend against targeted cyberattacks.

The scenarios are loosely based on typical cyberattack events and are enabled through the Florida Cyber Range (FCR). Each module includes a lecture, a discussion segment, a test for understanding activity or hands-on exercises as appropriate.
