Facing Plaza Ferdinand at the corner of Zaragossa and Jefferson streets in downtown Pensacola is the largest coop gallery in the Southeastern U.S. Many say this is the best art show in town and it is free to visitors. The building was constructed in 1873 and was headquarters for the Germania Steam Fire Engine and Hose Company. You will enjoy seeing the building as much as seeing the three floors of original art! Artists will be on hand to demonstrate and answer questions after the guided tour of the gallery. There will be time to see works in clay, glass, fiber, precious metals and wood. In addition, you will be able to see paintings in oil, watercolor mixed media pieces and photography. There is something for everyone to appreciate (and buy if you wish). Join this class and expand your horizons while admiring the works of over one hundred local artists.
