CourseGraphic The Roy Hyatt Environmental Center is located on 120 acres of upland pine forest and seepage bog. While here you will tour the new facility, opened in September 2019, including the microscope lab, the reptile room and more. You will also have the opportunity to board the bird watching bus and observe birds feeding and splashing in the bird pond. Then we will tour the butterfly garden and walk one of the many trails searching for native flora and fauna, finally reaching the seepage bog where we will see several species of carnivorous plants including the endangered white-topped pitcher plant.
